Also known as the "Swedish massage"; Swedish massage uses a system of long gliding strokes, kneading, and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of muscles, generally in the direction of blood flow toward the heart, and sometimes combined with active and passive movements of the joints. It is used to promote general relaxation, improve circulation and range of motion, and relieve muscle tension. Swedish massage is the most commonly used form of massage.

Signature Massage

This massage is called a signature because the therapist can combine many of their professional therapies together. It is a signature massage allowing the therapist to use any technique the body needs in this session. Which may be stretching , deep tissue, relax, pressure points or any other modality your body may need. Therapeutic massage involves the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, and stress; and, to promote health and wellness.

Deep tissue massage is used to release chronic patterns of muscular tension using slow strokes, direct pressure, or friction directed across the grain of the muscles. It is applied with greater pressure and to deeper layers of muscle than Swedish, which is why it is called deep tissue and is effective for chronic muscular tension. We may also stretch elbows, or forearms, in a deep tissue massage. We do not use any instruments or tools on the body.

Stone Massage

The heat from the stones extremely relaxes muscles and increases the blood flow to the area being worked on which further accelerates the healing process. This increase in circulation and the relaxation of the muscles also aids in mental relaxation. Mental relaxation is key when a Therapist is attempting to work into deeper muscles of the body. Why Stones? Stones are actually made up of metals & a magnetic force which helps balance the ionic patterns in the muscle.

This massage is used for headaches, sinus pressure & general tension in the neck & head. It is known to improve all of these. It can help to open the sinus passages & relieve blocked breathing passages.

Pulling the stress out of the hands & feet will help begin to alleviate pains from problems such as carpal tunnel, tendinitis, tennis elbow, foot pain from being on your feet all day, wearing shoes not made for the shape of your feet. Using the computer, working , carrying grocery bags, children, books etc. with the elbows bent cutting off the circulation to the hands & arms causes pain. We use the pressure point in acupressure to soothe & relax the feet & hands.
